Candy Dish Displays

I bought some candy dishes a few weeks ago after seeing my friend Alicia's booth at different craft fairs. They are perfect for holding my mini clip, the ones with hearts and the other shapes.

I'm planning to keep the pairs on ribbons like before.

I am a bad bad crafty girl.

I am so sorry. It has been over a year since I posted to my Hairware craft blog. A bunch of stuff has happened since last you heard from me.

I'm making simple seasonal hair clips, in December I made angels and trees. I need to find or make a cutter for snowflakes. Now I'm making hearts for February.

These are some cupcakes I made as a special order for my friend Betty. After these I've added cupcakes to my repertoire. You can't eat them, but they are adorable.

Cupcakes, scull clips and an STFU

I found a fish shaped cutter, so I can make 2 inch french clip fish. I have been asked to make them bigger, so I'm going to try adding a wave or some seaweed behind the fish.

At the request of my sister-in-law, I've added polka dots.

After much nagging by my sister, I've started making hair sticks. They can double as shawl pins. A blond wood stick with a dangley (my own personal technical term.)

I am actively looking for craft fairs to apply for, so if you know of one... let me know.
And now for some random photos you probably haven't seen.

Craft Fairs and stuff

Don't forget I'll be at Immanuel Lutheran in Hamilton, OH tomorrow from 9am-3pm. Should be a fun day. Apparently one of the ladies will be selling homemade baked goods.

I'll post photos from Immanuel Lutheran after the weekend. But for now, how about a photo of some blue stuff.

Craft Fair!

People seem to really like the little heart clips that I made for Bella, so I've been making lots more in lots of colors. Here are some photos.

Saturday, October 17th I will be at Immanuel Lutheran School 1285 Main St. in Hamilton, OH selling at the school's student activities fundraiser. Of course I will be leaving the curse word stuff at home.

Plus I've been making some special orders, like this "Go Cats" barrette for Vicky. If you have one of my special orders, I hope you love it.

photos from Bellevue's Art in the Park

Ribbon of barrettes from behind. In the background, you can see my sign and barrette tree.
The sign. I think it turned out really well. Jenn and Tony were on the other side of this lattice.
Candle holder of bobby pins. $3.00 each or 4/$10.00. I'm going to put bobby pin assortments in my Etsy shop.
Me and my sign. I should have taken a photo of Ellie when she came to visit. Thanks again for your help Amy.
The back table with assorted barrettes, tree and tray. It was very bright when I had finished setting everything up. I promise more photos next time, and maybe a video.

Look for new stuff on my Etsy Shop www.hairware.etsy.com.

OMG! OMG! OMFG!!!

Okay, so I'm about 24 hours away from my first ever craft fair. I'm nervous and I'm trying not to panic. What if I'm a failure?
I know I won't be a failure, but I always have that fear. Plus I'm a worrier.
I have a nice long list of stuff to take and stuff to keep me occupied, things like a deck of cards, sunscreen and calculator. I could go on for the whole list but that would bore you.

I lost my HairWare pin Wednesday, and I'm hoping it turns up.
In the mean time I made myself the barrettes on the right that say "hair" and "ware" to wear in my pigtails.
I picked up my banner yesterday afternoon. It looks AweSome!! Big thanks go to Jess at Staples for helping me out and being so patient with my signage ignorance.

If you get a chance, come on by.
